A second generation upholsterer, Carlo grew up in his father’s upholstery shop in Fairfield, learning the craft of bespoke furniture upholstery, restorations, and furniture polishing. Following in his father’s footsteps, Carlo has worked as one of Melbourne’s most trusted and sought after furniture restorers and upholsterers for almost 30 years, delivering beautifully restored pieces, custom creations, and newly designed furniture.
Beginning his career at 17 by learning the time-honoured craft of upholstery, Ben McMullin has made it a career aim to push the boundaries of detailed artisan work into large scale projects. Bringing the attention-to-detail of a skilled craftsman to the commercial, industrial, and medical fields, Ben has created a work-flow that serves large projects with all the fineness of a one-off piece. His precision craftsmanship and ability to deliver quality work and after-care services on a grand scale make him the craftsman of choice for designers and project managers.
